What exactly is the need to use these labels in the symlinks ? IMHO, it would be far more useful to use labels for mountpoints, actually (as suggested in #321694 / http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=321694#17 ). My 2 cents, Hope this helps.
