Sorry about the - in the function name.  Thanks for catching that.

FYI.  I strongly suspect but have not confirmed that checkroot.sh
has a similar bug -- that if there are _any_ file or lvm
swap partitions in fstab swap will not be turned on before doing
fsck on a root fs, even if there _are_ regular swap partitions
available.

I will try to get around to installing sid, investigating
further, and coming up with a patch.

Please let me know if I should be filing a bug report
on a suspicion of a problem or should otherwise be doing
something different.
