Unfortunately, I cannot really test this anymore. I have migrated off
of vservers to lxc so I'm using 2.6.32+ kernel now. Furthermore, the
machine that did originally run this kernel has suffered a hardware
failure (at least electrolytic capacitors reached their EOL and need
to be replaced).
