No, but the following code in the function NET_InetAddressToSockaddr
in net_util_md.c in OpenJDK's JVM causes this:
if (family == IPv4) { /* will convert to IPv4-mapped address */
memset((char *) caddr, 0, 16);
address = (*env)->GetIntField(env, iaObj, ia_addressID);
if (address == INADDR_ANY) {
