To provide you with more info on this problem, I tried removing whole .icedove directory, that is start with new profile, this didn't work out either.
But what's weird is that once I'm using Thunderbird3 (not Icedove) everything works just fine. But to eliminate the option that this is solely Icedove bug, I came across this on Mozilla Messaging: http://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/topics/why_doesnt_thunderbird_3_global_search_find_any_matches For now I'm just building my own Thunderbird and it works fine :) Adnan
