Hi,
I'm using hostname v3.04, and the bug doesn't seem to be resolved for
me. Here's the relevant information:
$ apt-cache policy hostname
hostname:
Installed: 3.04
Candidate: 3.04
Version table:
*** 3.04 0
500 http://ftp.us.debian.org sid/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
$ hostname
kytes
$ cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 kytes
$ hostname -f
hostname: Name or service not known
$ hostname -i
hostname: Name or service not known
