The fixes between .207 and .208 are several months in the making, the
best way to see all the details would be to get the latest tarball and
look at the Changelog file. Lots of small bug fixes... some security
fixes to the capability system (CAP_AUDIT stuff and the default behavior
is to assume unknown capabilities are insecure); the barrier-code has
been adjusted to work properly with the 1.2.10 patch. The code has been
updated to work with the newer available patches more cleanly (in the
headers etc.). Some build-time enhancements, such as checking to see if
a context is already active before starting a build, removing a failed
built vservers (unless an argument is passed), resulting in less cruft
laying around; numeric xids are supported in vserver-info; syscalls are
updated to newest versions, debootstrap status information enhanced.
Some legacy problems were resolved, chroot code was enhanced....

I can't remember everything that I've seen go by in the CVS tree, but it
is commonly said on the IRC channel that the .208 version is a vast
improvement over .207 and whenever people come in for help and it is
found out that they are using the debian packaged .207, they are
immediately told to go compile and install .208.
