Hi,

I am not too keen on information overload.

Thanks for your interest.

As I said, there must be something dput has done better to gain such
momentum.

dupload was 20% more until April 2008.

dupload initialy takes off but stalls and stay flat.

dput was more than dupload in July 2008 and kept going.

Debian Lenny was from February 2008.
Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Hardy Heron 2008-04-24

As I review dput now:

 * more natural configuration file format
 * dcut
 * support for non-signed upload.
 * better support for different types of Debian like archives including
   Ubuntu.
 * product marketing to Ubuntu folks :-) (Just guessing)
 * More package update

This is tutorial document. We should avoid documenting all. My recent
addition to the debhelper packaging tutorial section with recent
capabilities made this document big enough. My thought is switch weight
between dput and dupload. I am not goint to drop dupload completely.
