Package: gpsdrive Version: 2.09-2 Followup-For: Bug #321425
I experience the same problem with gpsdrive and kismet. But I found out that it does start up right, when kismet has not yet gathered any access points. But still something is broken, as gpsdrive does not seam to record any ap from kismet (or just hangs again as soon as kismet gets the first AP). I once had the situation that gpsdrive apparently got all waypoints from kismet, but did not show them (they appeared after restarting gpsdrive without kismet running) but I cannot reproduce anymore as I only noticed after the drive when I started debugging the whole stuff. Some traces show that the problem could lay within the MySQL connection and not within the KISMET connection. -Benoit- -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-mh1 Locale: LANG=de_CH, LC_CTYPE=de_CH (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages gpsdrive depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.1-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgcc1 1:4.0.1-3 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.9-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpcre3 5.0-1.1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.6-7 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 Versions of packages gpsdrive recommends: ii gpsd 2.28-2 GPS (Global Positioning System) se -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
