Package: qemu Version: 0.12.3+dfsg-2 Severity: wishlist *** Please type your report below this line *** After last upgrade qemu stopped to use kqemu accelerator on my systems. The command-line options -enable-kqemu and -kernel-kqemu are not valid any more. As those systems use processors which do not provide hardware support for KVM, they can only run qemu without accelerator.
Maybe the old version of the qemu package, which still supported kqemu should be kept available? -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32.9 (SMP w/2 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages qemu depends on: ii qemu-system 0.12.3+dfsg-2 QEMU full system emulation binarie ii qemu-user 0.12.3+dfsg-2 QEMU user mode emulation binaries ii qemu-utils 0.12.3+dfsg-2 QEMU utilities qemu recommends no packages.
