The issue is that as I am not a DD, I can't upload and need a sponsor, and I have other packages to be sponsored first, so that one will stay for a long time in my "need a sponsor queue", which is why I don't think it's reasonable that I adopt the package right away, knowing that it could wait months before getting an update.
