I have asked similar question in #openvz IRC channel and folks there pointed to vzsplit tool which can be used to generate "bigger" conf templates like:
$ vzsplit -n 1 | sudo tee /etc/vz/conf/ve-big.conf-sample Probably it worth it to just add this example to docs instead of providing fixed conf template. -- http://fossarchy.blogspot.com/
