Hi, I've hit the same scenario, I guess...some Xen hosts running debian lenny with multiple vif*.* and IPv6 enabled run out of memory when snmpd is not restarted for some weeks...
I have had a look to lenny repositories, including proposed updates and backports and snmpd package version hasn't changed so I'm guessing this fix is not available for lenny.
