Package: insserv Version: 1.12.0-14 Severity: important If you follow the policy way of disabling a service, like for instance running "update-rc.d XXX disable 2", you'll get a warning like: insserv: warning: current start runlevel(s) (3 4 5) of script `XXX' overwrites defaults (2 3 4 5). insserv: warning: current stop runlevel(s) (2) of script `XXX' overwrites defaults (empty).
I don't need to get 2 warnings because I install something but disable it. And you get that warning any time update-rc.d is run like upgrade or install of an unrelated package also having an init script.
