It is compatible with other DC clients, such as the original DC from Neomodus, DC++ and derivatives. EiskaltDC++ also interoperates with all common DC hub software. EiskaltDC development has been frozen. The latest stable version is 1.0.41. EiskaltDC++ is the EiskaltDC heir only formally, code was completely rewritten. Name was changed, but the version numbers have decided to leave, so as not to confuse users. The latest stable release EiskaltDC++ 2.0.1 was at April 18, 2010.
