I'm reassigning this bug to xserver-xorg-input-wacom, since the xsetwacom tool now lives there (and wacom-tools will be removed). If I understand your problem correctly, you want to either set the KeepShape option at runtime (I take it that setting the option in xorg.conf doesn't work for you?) or query the tablet size so you can do the KeepShape calculations yourself? Please confirm that I've understood correctly. As for the KeepShape option, a thread on the upstream list [1] suggests that KeepShape can't be enabled after initialization, so it seems that route won't work. Gr.
