package: installation-reports The following combinations cause LILO installation to fail. (using expert26)
1. / on /dev/md0 /boot on /dev/hda1 lilo.conf is correct, but the installation fails. One can install lilo from the chroot on the second console and finish the installation as if there were no boot loader. Reboot OK. 2. / on /dev/md0 /boot on /dev/md1 The options presented by the lilo instaler are wrong, lilo.conf is wrong. (/dev/md1 suplied instead of /dev/hda) Lilo installation fails. It is possible to rectify the situation in chroot on the second console again.
