Package: mplayer Version: 2:1.0~rc3+svn20100502-1 Severity: serious With the latest update to mplayer, audio output to pulse doesn't work any more.
Playing any file results in ”ERROR: Assertion 'channels > 0' failed at pulse/volume.c:76, function pa_cvolume_set(). Aborting.“ I guess this problem affects upstream as well, as I used my own svn version (about a month old) of mplayer that did not have this problem. Using gnome-mplayer with setting "Mplayer Software Volume Control Enabled" works around this bug. Greetings from Austria, Alex
