Package: mutt
Version: 1.5.20-7
Severity: normal

If I define these keybindings in my muttrc:

bind generic,index,browser ^N next-entry
bind generic,index,browser ^P previous-entry

they are overrided by the default ones (next-thread and previous thread).

All the bindings appear in mutt help screen:
Index:
...
^N next-thread
^P previous-thread
...
^N next-entry
^P previous-entry
...

It used to work a few weeks ago (but I don't know exactly when this bug
appeared).
