Package: sysv-rc Version: 2.86.ds1-1 Severity: important
well. normally this package will get installed by some debian installation routine, but since i manually "migrated" my system from knoppix back to a normal debian sarge, I had to install sysv-rc manually. First I removed the knoppix sysvinit package (I had to force it, because it's an essential package) and afterwards I tried to install the sysv-rc package. Then I discovered, that i also had to force that install, because the package install requires update-rc.d, which is part of this package. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-3-multimedia-k7 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
