Yes, this is unfortunate. The API for the ‘lockfile’ library has
changed incompatibly in its latest release, and the ‘daemon’ library
has not yet been changed accordingly.

That won't help, as it's an unrelated behaviour to this report. This
package no longer uses ‘python-central’.


I'm reassigning this report to ‘python-daemon’ since that package
needs to be changed to allow for the new ‘lockfile’ API. Thank you for
