Package: multipath-tools Version: 0.4.8-14+lenny2 Severity: normal Hi,
Continuing the discussion in #580972, the form of uevents emitted by newer kernels (at least 2.6.32, possibly older ones as well) has changed and is incompatible with lenny's multipathd. This was fixed upstream, in a backwards compatible way, with commit 7fa7affc3d23dd9dc906804d22a61144bca9f9b9. This commit is already present in sid/squeeze and can also be applied against lenny's version. It would be great if you could backport it, so that lenny's version can work with newer kernels as well.
