Hi,

I've prepared an NMU for xbs (versioned as 0-7.4) and
uploaded it to DELAYED/7. Please feel free to tell me if I
should delay it longer.

Thanks for these changes. Unfortunately, you're also making big
packaging changes (like adding debhelper), rather than just fixing the
bugs. I'm content for an NMU to fix the important issues (which is
mostly the renamed x11 package), but please don't go re-jigging the
entire packaging in an NMU.

Thanks,

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

I sponsored the upload because the package appears to be wholly unmaintained. The build-dep bug on x-dev has been open for over a year, and the last time a "normal" maintainer Debian revision number was used is January of 2002. Then there was an NMU, and since then the uploads have been using NMU revisions, but from the maintainer address.

I agree with the Jari that the changes are relatively minor and merely bring the package in line with current practices. It's not as if the package was switched to another build system.

Thank you,
tony
