Sorry, I was too fast. It does not really work with gij-4.0. The GUI shows up
and I can do things with it, but downloading torrents does not work (It gets
the torrent from an URL and connects to some hosts, but there's no data
flowing).
I tested this with a Knoppix torrent (rtorrent does work).
When I found out that I was wrong, I tested all the other free JVM's.
The results:
- GIJ-4.0 see above
- Kaffe same as GIJ-4.0, but does not even get
the torrent file
- GIJ-3.4, JamVM aborts before the GUI shows up
- SableVM hangs before the GUI shows up
