Package: util-linux Version: 2.16.2-0 Severity: wishlist File: /sbin/fdisk Hello,
Fdisk is today getting more and more outdated, and visibly you are getting lot of work with the util-linux. I wish you can handle this swift evolution with hardware, and keeping the util disk linux up to date. It is certainly over work you have nowadays, seeing the list of tasks you have on the sourceforge. I hope you can make it good, because fdisk is the key for linux users for using harddisks and data. So a wishlist, would be that fdisk -l, when listing all disks, offers the information of UID and labels. This would be very important to configure the machines. Alternatively one could do: fdisk -le , with 'e' for extended for larger inforamtion.
