Package: libpam-fprint Version: 20080330+git-4 Severity: normal Hi,
I just retried and investigated a slight more; from /var/log/syslog, it seems that when libpam-fprint is used, kdm_greet looks for a /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/faces/.default.face file. I just touched such a file and then fingerprint-based authentication works (I have to slide my finger twice, but it works). I hope it helps.
