Well, honestly I'm partial to bzr, and I thought it was a good idea as
upstream is developed in bzr as well. But as you both would rather use
git, I'll go ahead and deal with it. I've never used the debian git
tools, so it will be a good opportunity to learn.

I don't know how long it usually takes to get approved for
collab-maint, so if one of you wants to set up the repo feel free. I
imported the Ubuntu history and the changes I've made for the new
Debian package on gitorious. So you can just grab that and push it to
Alioth:
