Well, the ordinary snack tasks (playing sound files) work well in 8.5 (I've tried only the library built for 8.4, but it uses Tcl stubs so it can be loaded into 8.5 interpreter). I'll run all tests in 8.4 and 8.5 and will see if there's any difference. Thanks for the report and the patch!
