Only packages based on netkit-ftp_0.17-22 have removed an obvious repeated use of freeaddrinfo(), that crept into 0.17-21 due to a 'goto' instruction used in recovering from an error.
Thus I need a segfault verification from netkit-ftp-ssl_0.17.22+0.2-1 in order to draw a positive conclusion. The initial report contained in #582598 claims 0.17.21 which is outdate as regards #579532. Did the situation occur after a succesful handshake, followed by a premature socket shutdown by a server? I did not grasp the claimed circumstances.
