Package: udev
Version: 154-1
Severity: important

Since the last update to 154-1 udevd eats my cpu like hell:
 PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
 890 root      16  -4 17348 1392  392 R  100  0.0   6:23.37 udevd

and that permanently. Attaching an strace shows tousands of lines of
in a few seconds, all the same:

ioctl(6, FIONREAD, [0])                 = 0
poll([{fd=4, events=POLLIN}, {fd=5, events=POLLIN}, {fd=6, events=POLLIN},
{fd=7, events=POLLIN}, {fd=8, events=POLLIN}], 5, 3000^C) = 1 ([{fd=6,
revents=POLLIN}])

Calling
        /etc/init.d/udev restart
usually fixes that problem.

I actually had the tendency to gave that bug report a higher severity
(serious or so) ...
