Package: libgphoto2-2 Version: 2.4.6-1 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Hello,
My Kodak A220 is detected as a generic PTP camera, but the device is not assigned to the correct group ("plugdev"). Following the instructions in the README.Debian file, I could successfully put it work for users in the plugdev group by adding the following rules file to /etc/udev/rules.d/: ----------8<-----------------8<--------------------8<------------------- # Support for Kodak A220 camera ACTION=="add", SYSFS{idVendor}=="04cb", SYSFS{idProduct}=="01fe", MODE="0660", GROUP="plugdev" ----------8<-----------------8<--------------------8<------------------- Please add these vendor and product ID's gphoto2's database, so that it works out of the box: * Vendor ID: 04cb * Product ID: 01fe -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libgphoto2-2 depends on: ii adduser 3.112 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.10.2-9 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libexif12 0.6.19-1 library to parse EXIF files ii libgphoto2-port0 2.4.6-1 gphoto2 digital camera port librar ii libjpeg62 6b-16.1 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libltdl7 2.2.6b-2 A system independent dlopen wrappe Versions of packages libgphoto2-2 recommends: ii udev 154-1 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo Versions of packages libgphoto2-2 suggests: pn gphoto2 <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- Antonio Terceiro <terce...@softwarelivre.org> http://softwarelivre.org/terceiro
