Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

I think it is not worth the effort to support spring on other architectures
than i386 and amd64 until there is an openjdk port and/or fast OpenGL hardware
with proper driver support on other architectures.

Spring requires fast hardware accelerated OpenGL to be usable and a recent Java
JDK (i.e. openjdk-6) to build its Java AI bindings. Upstream sees no chance to
support other architectures than Linux and MS Windows in the foreseeable
future.

I think we don't need to waste archive space to unsupportable architecture
binaries of this package.

Please remove the following binary packages for hurd-i386, kfreebsd-i386 and
kfreebsd-amd64 in unstable and testing:

spring
spring-dbg

Regards
Jan
