Yes, that is the consequence. Because of the way bootlogd work, there will be some messages missing at the start and probably also some messages missing at the end of the boot. I guess the bug is with S89anacron, which have a very strange sequence number. Can you provide the output from /usr/share/insserv/make-testsuite to make it possible to reproduce the problem?
