First of all, the localized strings are ok now. I tried starting the program using both ISO-8859-1 and UTF-8. Second, the configuration is preserved between executions. Even when the mailbox name contains a non-ascii character. (Which is the default for at least the swedish locale) Third, It's now possible to edit settings from the gnome applet.
