Package: roffit
Version: 0.6+cvs20090507-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Roffit appears to insert

    <p class="level0">

at the beginning of each line in the HTML body but there are no
closing </p> tags. XHTML requires closing all tags:

    For non-empty elements, end tags are required

( http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/ )

Although XHTML validity may not be of need, it can only count as a
quick hack to insert <p> tags at the beginning of each line.

Paragraphs are not allowed to contain block elements (e.g. other
paragraphs or headings). Quoting the HTML4 specification:

    The P element represents a paragraph. It cannot contain
    block-level elements (including P itself).
