Some update: I discovered, that aptitude tries to resolve a lot of dependency problems (very, very much, more than 5000). It seems for me, that the same conflicts are resolved again and again. I do not know, if dependencies are resolved by aptitude itself, or if aptitude is giving resolving to an external programm like dpkg.
