The bug is a lot more sophisticated than your original description was. The bug appears only when playing MP3 files, and only because you changed madplug's "fast_play_time_calc" option to FALSE. I guess stupid users like you shouldn't change sophisticated settings like that. ;) At any rate, 2.4 will have a new MP3 plugin based on libmpg123, which handles length calculation automatically.
