Hello, This is because GTK "keeps" track of the window during a maximize/restore event from a double click on the title bar.
There is a patch upstream : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=599181 It is a really annoying, frustrating, [put here what I dare not write...], and above all, potentially harmful bug.
