Thats right, I didnt set up anything, I just installed it, and did what the readme told me to do. r...@debian5:~# grep terp /etc/default/tinyerp-server # Specify the user name (Default: terp). USER="terp" # Specify the database name (Default: terp). DATABASE_NAME="terp" # Specify the database user name (Default: terp). DATABASE_USER="terp" Nowhere does it say root r...@debian5:~# grep root /etc/default/tinyerp-server r...@debian5:~# > also note: tinyerp is not supported anymore, please use openerp from > testing/unstable which installs just fine on lenny too. Hm, whats the point of having a stable distribution if packages dont work in it? Might as well stop making releases and tell people to just run testing/unstable. At the very least it would be nice if a workaround is posted in the BTS for others to follow as they will undoubtedly run into the same problem.
