Hi!

Would you please include the attached save_alias patch in mutt-patched?
If you write a mail to an alias, the fcc field will be automatically set to =<alias>. This was controlled by the boolean variable save_alias.

The patch was written by Hans Bogaards and announced in the mutt user mailing list (http://www.mail-archive.com/mutt-us...@mutt.org/msg04363.html). The homepage of the patch was http://www.stack.nl/~hansbo/mutt.html, but the page is not available anymore, and I can’t find any new information about Hans and mutt.

I’m afraid, the patch does not apply anymore to current mutt versions. Since I’m not a developper, maybe you could try to adapt the patch to the current mutt version?
I would be very glad to use it again.

Shade and sweet water!

        Stephan
