Hi, I contacted the maintainers of libgstreamermm as it's only available in experimental. They say it will probably not go to squeeze as upstream breaks ABI without changing the SONAME and this has to be fixed first.
I now build the last version of subtitleeditor without libgstreamermm - it's version 0.33.0. I think it's the best choice we have at the moment for squeeze. You can find the package on mentors.d.n dget http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/subtitleeditor/subtitleeditor_0.33.0-1.1.dsc BTW: Version 0.36.2 is still packaged and I'd love to see it in experimental.
