Package: bcfg2
Version: 1.0.1-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Hi,

on testing (squeeze), the current version of bcfg2 doesn't correctly handle the
new debsums API.

for example :
> /usr/bin/debsums -as nano
< debsums: changed file /etc/nanorc (from nano package)
Got Unsupported pattern debsums: changed file /etc/nanorc (from nano package)
from debsums
Package nano failed validation. Bad files are:
debsums: changed file /etc/nanorc (from nano package)

This problem is known upstream, and a patch is already available on :

https://trac.mcs.anl.gov/projects/bcfg2/changeset/5761/trunk/bcfg2/src/lib/Client/Tools/APT.py

Note from "solj" : that fix will be available when 1.1.0 comes out

Thanks,
Olivier B.
