Do you have any thoughts on how you'd like this to work? We could allow the use of multiple regexes in place of the current single large regex, but I'm not sure how to put that in the config file nicely. While we hard-code the default in, the reason it needs copying and changing is so that it can be overridden if required (otherwise it wouldn't be possible to remove those initial defaults from the filter, only to extend it).
