Is there any way to specify an alternative directory for the cache?
The last update of approx just broke the way that you recommended (and I
still think that using a symlink is a less elegant way than slightly
generalizing approx and making it be smarter about where its cache
lives).
I mean, for proprietary, closed-source programs, using a symlink would
be OK, but approx isn't in that league of programs---it is much better.
