I prepared a package 10 days ago that fixes #580659, #521227 and #580658, and provides the latest version of irssi-xmpp. Since I'm not a DD myself, I emailed Rhonda to ask if she agreed to sponsor the package as she did the previous times, but she didn't answer yet. Sorry, I should have tagged the bugs as 'pending', but I didn't because I thought the new package would uploaded quickly. I'm doing it now (I think it's OK to do so, since the tagging action will be mentionned on the corresponding bugs' pages anyway).
