A reference to the LSB specification of the init script is relevant but,
if Debian deviates from LSB in any way then reference to the relevant
Debian policy should also be included and/or the deviations should be
documented in the man page. For example, it appears Debian squeeze uses
insserv rather than install_initd and remove_initd to activate and
deactivate init scripts. Are there other differences?

While the references to LSB and Debian policy are helpful, there should
be enough information in the man page to manage a system without
reference to the Internet.
