Package: erlang-mode Version: 1:14.a-dfsg-1 Severity: important erlang-mode is no longer coinstallable with XEmacs (which I have installed mainly for compatibility testing, FWIW) because flymake, on which erlang-flymake.el relies, is specific to GNU Emacs:
Compiling /usr/share/xemacs21/site-lisp/erlang/erlang-flymake.el... While compiling toplevel forms in file /usr/share/xemacs21/site-lisp/erlang/erlang-flymake.el: !! File error (("Cannot open load file" "flymake")) >>Error occurred processing erlang-flymake.el: Cannot open load file: flymake To compensate, I would suggest adjusting the emacs-install script to set FILES conditionally depending on whether it is working with XEmacs or GNU Emacs; alternatively, you could conservatively arrange for it to bail altogether when encountering XEmacs, which upstream evidently doesn't support. At any rate, could you please take care of it?
