Hi Ruben, I have been looking into this problem for a couple of days. Basically, I don't think it is an easy problem for us to patch because the format of the help files themselves has changed significantly. In other words, we could patch ApplicationWindow.cpp to make use of new help files, but we still need upstream to update their online documentation!
In the meantime, there is a much easier solution... the qt-assistant-compat package has been created in experimental, which provides the old Qt Assistant and related development files.
