I had a similar error about setup.py (see below). The PYTHONPATH fix mentioned
previously allows me to run openshot. The setup.py script mentioned in this
error message doesn't appear to exist, and I'm not convinced running a script
called 'setup.py' from the current directory as root is the best suggestion in
this case.
