Package: gdb-minimal Version: 7.0.1-2+b1 Severity: wishlist Several debugger frontend packages specify gdb either in their Depends: (e.g. xxgdb) or Recommends: (e.g. ddd). No such package is aware of gdb-minimal. If I have gdb-minimal installed, and I install one of these debugger frontends, APT will remove gdb-minimal and pull in the full gdb, even though the frontends would work perfectly well with gdb-minimal.
